Warranty

This Limited Warranty applies to reconditioned Japanese-manufactured tractors (to include, but not limited to, Kubota, Yanmar, Mitsubishi, Iseki, Shibaura, Hinomoto and Zen-Noh). For our line of new Jinma brand tractors the warranty is exactly the same except the period is one (1) year. Warranty periods are calculated from the original date of sale.

Limited Warranty Coverage

This Limited Warranty is mechanical breakdown parts-only coverage. If any of the parts identified below (the "Covered Parts") break down, then for a period of 90 days from the date the Tractor was purchased (the "Warranty Period"), Josef Tractor Co. , (hereafter "JTC) will at no charge replace any such part(s). Mechanical breakdown coverage applies to the Covered Parts listed in the next section, but certain exclusions apply (see Exclusions From Coverage section below).
Customer must notify JTC of the failure of a Covered Part within the Warranty Period. Replacement will be made with parts of like kind and quality. It is expressly understood that replacement parts and/or components need not be new, but may be used or rebuilt, which will be guaranteed serviceable. A "breakdown" or "mechanical breakdown" means the failure of any original or like replacement part covered by this Limited Warranty to work as it was designed to work in normal service. However, reduced operation or reduced performance due to normal wear and tear shall not be considered a breakdown within the meaning of this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty does not constitute a written affirmation of fact or promise by JTC that the material or workmanship of the tractor, or any parts thereof, are free of any defects or will meet a specified level of performance over a specified period of time.

Covered Parts

This Limited Warranty is between JTC and Customer, and applies to a reconditioned Japanese-manufactured tractor purchased from JTC. This Limited Warranty covers the parts described as follows:

Engine:

• Diesel Engine: All internally lubricated parts inclusive of: pistons, pins, crankshaft and main bearings, connecting rods and bearings, camshaft and bearings, timing chain, rocker arms, shafts and bushings, valves, valve springs, guides and seats, push rods, oil pump, turbocharger, waste gate controller, intercooler, hard lines, compressor, clutch and pulley, bypass valve, injection pump, diesel injection tube, pump gear, tensioner pulley, timing belt, and injection timing control, lines and nozzles. The engine block, cylinder heads, valve covers, timing cover and oil pan are covered only if damaged by one of the above internally lubricated parts.

Transmission:

• All internally lubricated parts contained within the transmission/transaxle case, transmission mounts, torque converter and vacuum modulator. The transmission case and pan are covered only if damaged by an internally lubricated part.
• 4-Wheel Drive: All internally lubricated parts contained within the transfer case, all internally lubricated parts within the front differential housing, and locking hubs. Both the transfer case housing and the front differential housing are covered only if damaged by an internally lubricated part.

Steering, Suspension, Brakes, Electrical, Cooling System, Air Conditioning, Electronic, Interior, Exterior, Assemblies & Controls

Other: This is just a partial listing of the Covered Parts. We will replace most parts that breaks down, except as indicated under the "Exclusions from Coverage" section below:

Exclusions From Coverage

This Limited Warranty does not cover or apply to:

1. Damage or breakdown caused by collision, fire, theft, vandalism, riot, explosion, natural disaster or any event not under the control of JTC.
2. Damage or breakdown due to tractor/component abuse, misuse, or alteration.
3. Breakdown of aftermarket accessories or non-original equipment, components and systems not installed by the manufacturer.
4. Reduced operation/performance due to normal wear and tear of Covered Parts, including, but not limited to, valve grind(s) and/or piston ring replacement(s) designed to improve engine compression or reduce oil consumption.
5. Preventative maintenance services or parts replacement as suggested by the manufacturer in its maintenance schedule or by JTC representative upon sale of tractor to Customer.
6. Transportation and/or delivery costs associated with transportation of tractor to nearest repair facility.
7. Batteries, paint, tires, keys; external trim, moldings, buttons, knobs, gauge covers, decals, sheet metal; headlight, turn signal or brake light bulbs; any other consumable part not specifically listed in Covered Parts.
   JTC will not repair or replace any part or item, whether or not it is a Covered Part, unless it is required in conjunction with the repair or replacement of a Covered Part being serviced under this Limited Warranty. In the event a manufacturer's warranty or an extended service plan applies to a Covered Part, coverage under the warranty or plan shall be exhausted prior to being covered by this Limited Warranty.
8. JTC will not repair or replace any part or item, whether or not it is not a Covered Part nor will JTC pay for labor to replace a Covered Part. In the event a manufacturer's warranty or an extended service plan applies to a Covered Part, coverage under the warranty or plan shall be exhausted prior to being covered by this Limited Warranty.
9. JTC is not responsible for delivery or transporting of tractor to receive Covered Parts Warranty repair or any repair; this is solely the customer responsibility.

Claim Procedure

In the event of a mechanical breakdown, Customer must follow these instructions:

• Customer must return the Covered Part to JTC at Customer's expense. Part replacement/repair cannot take place until Covered Part is received at the JTC location in Dallas, TX. Customer must use a trackable shipping method and include insurance with shipment of Covered Part to JTC.
• Shipment of replaced/repaired parts from JTC to customer will be free of charge for standard ground shipping. Shipping and handling cost for expedited shipping (upon Customer request and dependent upon availability) will be Customer's responsibility.
• If a mechanical failure occurs within the Warranty Period, Customer must contact JTC immediately with the name and/or description of the Covered Part and explanation of events leading up to and including mechanical failure.
• It is Customer's responsibility to deliver tractor to the nearest repair facility and to negotiate labor costs with his/her chosen repair facility if customer will not be completing repair on his/her own. JTC bears no responsibility under this Limited Warranty to participate in the actual repair of Customer's tractor.
• Noncompliance with the above requirements will invalidate your ability to submit a claim for repair or replacement or to obtain any other remedy under this Warranty.
• JTC reserves the right to inspect any tractor prior to authorization.
• It shall be Customer sole responsibility for repairs to be made to Customer's satisfaction, in accordance with the provisions of this Warranty. JTC is under no obligation to search for defects in Covered Parts once a tractor has been delivered to a repair facility for Warranty service, other than those directly related to the function and repair of the Covered Part currently being serviced as per Customer's description of the problem.
